A survey that starts as a personal project often needs to become a shared team asset once other people need to co-edit it or view live results. Microsoft Forms lets you either build directly inside a group workspace or move an existing personal form over later.
01Open your group workspace
From the main dashboard, scroll past your recent personal files to the My Groups panel and select the target Microsoft 365 Group or Teams workspace.
02Create a form directly in the group
Click New Group Quiz or New Group Form to build a shared asset straight from that group directory.
03Or find an existing personal form
Return to your My Forms tab and locate the private template you want to transfer.
04Move it to a group
Hover over the form tile, click the three-dot More Options icon, and select Move to a group, then choose your destination group.
05Confirm the transfer
Click Move to authorize the transfer, then open the target group folder to verify the form appears for all team members.
