How to Edit Invoice Template in QuickBooks Online, Customize & Change Easily 2026
By Impran M N
A generic invoice doesn't do much for your brand. QuickBooks Online's Custom Form Styles tool lets you upload your logo, pick an accent color, control which columns show, and even tweak the automated email that goes out with each invoice. This guide walks through the full customization flow.
01Open Custom Form Styles
Click the Gear icon, then select Custom Form Styles under the Company column.
02Start a new style
Click New Style in the upper right of the dashboard, then select Invoice as the form type.
03Customize the design
On the Design tab, rename your template, upload your business logo, and select an accent color that matches your brand.
04Adjust the content layout
Switch to the Content tab, click into the header, table, and footer sections to rename fields, show or hide columns, and add remittance details.
05Update email settings and save
On the Emails tab, edit the default subject and body message sent to customers, then click Done to save your custom template.
