Typing Chinese characters in Google Docs or Slides doesn't require installing separate keyboard software or fighting with broken fonts. Google Workspace has a native Input Tools system that lets you activate a Pinyin keyboard or handwriting pad directly inside your document. 01Add Chinese to your language settings
Open File > Language in your Google Doc or Slide, then scroll through the language list and select your preferred Chinese variant.
